Beautiful London wedding photography at the Bhaktivedanta Manor.
Being an enthusiastic photographer himself, the groom Nityananda, used to assist me with shoots during my early days as a wedding photographer. Therefore, not only did I feel indebted but also humbled when Isha & he asked me to photography their Hindu wedding at Bhaktivedanta Manor. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 situation, their wedding was postponed a couple of times this year. However by Krsna’s mercy, they finally got to tie the know and celebrate with their nearest and dearest during a winter evening in December at the new Haveli wedding venue at Bhaktivedanta Manor.
Nityananda, having been born and raised amongst the Hare Krishna community at Bhaktivedanta Manor, felt right at home at this beautiful spiritual venue. Isha & Nityananda had asked Kripa Moya das, a resident priest of the community for over 50 years, to perform their wedding ceremony. And although I was photographing this wedding alone, I had the pleasure of teaming up with Rajesh from Filmwork Studios to document this joyous occasion. This was the last of the few weddings that I’ve been able to capture during 2020, it’s been a difficult year but I’m glad it ended with such a special wedding. I hope you enjoy this selection of images from their Hindu wedding.
