CINEMATOGRAPHY
As specialist wedding photographers, we concentrate our expertise on delivering consistent high-quality storytelling photography. We have consciously decided to specialise solely in photography, rather than to outsource cinematography to freelance filmmakers and editors at the risk of it becoming a sub-par additional service. We believe that our photography deserves to be partnered up with cinematography of equal quality. Therefore, we have carefully selected the following highly recommended, professional cinematography teams. These companies complement our style and approach to wedding photography & would be the perfect match.
Should you choose to directly contact any of our cinematography partners & they will best advise you on costings and options.
You may be considering cinematography for your upcoming wedding & you may have already asked yourself, whether you are better off booking photography & cinematography as two separate companies or as a combined package i.e. through an “all-in-one” company that offers both. There are benefits to both options and equally, there are some things to consider also. Whilst I cannot give you a definitive clearcut answer as to which route is the best for you to go down, as everybody has different needs, I can however, shed some insight from my understanding and experience working in the industry.
The main benefit of booking photography & videography separately is that you will have complete control over the style & quality of the photography and cinematography that you choose. In other words, you can choose the perfect photographer whose photography you cherish the most and pair them up with the cinematographer whose cinematics you love also. As they both specialise and focus on their crafts respectively, you won’t need to compromise on one or the other. You also have the added confidence knowing, that because the individual companies you book specialise in their craft, they will provide consistency, which emulates the quality of work that they have already displayed in their portfolios. Whilst costs may sometimes, although not always, seem slightly higher when booking two companies separately, the added value of having two specialised teams could be worth more & therefore the cost can be justified.
A concern that couples sometimes share with me, is that they wish to have the convenience of having one point of contact to deal with when it comes to photo-video. They believe this will help keep their wedding planning as simplified as possible. I do not think this is necessarily always the case; you can still have the simplicity & convenience if you select two companies that work seamlessly together & who are happy to liaise with each other on your behalf.
No problem! We work with a good network of wedding cinematographers who offer a variety of styles at different price points. As we have developed a good relationship with these companies over the years, it is possible to put together a combined bespoke package with them to bring you the best possible value. We are more than happy to recommend a company that ticks all your boxes; or alternatively, we are happy to work alongside any other company of your choice.
Although we do not believe that you will be disappointed with any of our recommendations, Soulphotography Studios Ltd. is not responsible nor liable for the services rendered or products sold by any suppliers recommended herein.
